I signed my company (Jacob's Electronics) up with PayAnywher.com to process my credit card transactions.  After accepting my first credit card transaction of over $1040.00 I waited for it to be sent to my checking account.

After two days the transaction has not been processed so I called their support, after many transfers on the phone I finally talked to Claudia Rowlett, she stated "I had to send them bank account statements proving I had more than the amount being processed by them or they would hold the funds for 180 days".  I then asked her to issue a refund to my client and to cancel my account with them as this was unacceptable.

She finally fulfilled my request.  About 6 months later I have a charge to my checking account of $54.56 that I did not authorise, I finally found who charged my account as it was not stated on my account and contacted them.  Once again, after being transferred many times I talked with a rep from Pay Anywhere, he stated "it was a fee from the transaction and would not return the funds".

I told him if they would have not attempted to hold the funds I would have not issued a refund and would have paid their fee, he was very rude and stated again he would not send a refund.

This is the first part, when I signed up with Pay Anywhere they advertised no fee for the first $1000.00, they clearly did not honor this as well.

I would like my $54.56 back and to let others know what kind of business they run.

 Thank you

Pay Anywhere issues refund after BBB complaint

AUTHOR: Jacob's Electronics, LLC. - ()

POSTED: Thursday, January 22, 2015

I filed a calim with the Better Business Bureau, the next business day I received a call from Pay Anywhere.

They told me they would credit back the (fee) "as a good will gesture".

If and when I receive the money I am owed I will follow up with my claim .

If I do not receive the money owed I will file a motion with the court within my county.

They are only an hour away from my location, I would love to see them in court, I will even serve the papers myself.

We did recive a refund a week later

Just a reminder to never do business with this (company).

Good luck everyone

- Jacob from Jacob's Electronics, LLC.
