Bank of America refused to help me refund my money from a Scam website when I disputed with them twice. This will be my third attempt. Torrance CA

Between January 5, 2025, and February 22, 2025, a total of 64 unauthorized transactions totaling $4,026.33 were debited from my checking account by a fraudulent merchant operating under multiple aliases — Livehub, Datinghub, Bonhub, Comhub, and Boldhub.

I canceled all services on February 5, 2025 using the merchant’s internal cancellation process and have screenshots and records to prove it. Despite this, charges continued under different names. This is a known scam tactic to evade detection and prevent customers from successfully canceling.

On March 3, 2025, Bank of America denied my dispute without giving me an opportunity to submit evidence or explain my side. There is no secure email or online upload option for customers to provide supporting documentation, making it impossible for me to fully present my case.

After I filed complaints with the CFPB and OCC, Bank of America reopened my claim on May 9, 2025 but failed to issue a provisional credit, as required under Regulation E. The merchant has not responded to them — which is expected from a scam operation — yet Bank of America still denied my claim again on August 8, 2025.

This denial ignores the clear evidence of fraud, my documented cancellation, and the fact that the merchant has completely failed to respond. Bank of America’s handling of this matter has been slow, uncooperative, and contrary to both consumer protection laws and their own stated policies.
