Called 6-7 times regarding flight cancellation for medical reason, Each time call was answered by person whose first language was not English and to speak slowly as I am badly hearing impaired. Each time I asked for this accomadation,they hung up. Was finally able to resolve issue on Orbitz web site after two or3 attempts

YOU knew the airline was Alaska Air, right? Why on earth did you involved some SLIME BALL THIRD PARTY to make the reservation which you COULD HAVE and most certainly SHOULD HAVE done DIRECTLY with the airline??? NOTHING BUT NOTHING has changed with making reservations. You call the airline, hotel or car rental company DIRECTLY and make it yourself! These third party TRASH cater to inexperienced travelers, the gullible and suckers. They will do anything they can to LIE TO YOU saying they have some "special relationship" with the airline which is an ABSOLUTE BUNCH OF PURE BS! They want you to cancel.so they can get the money paid to the airline and KEEP IT THEMSELVES. These third party trash, and that's ALL OF THEM will even make deliberate "mistakes" so you are motivated to cancel and they keep your money. If you would have made that reservation DIRECTLY with the airline, you wouldn't be here complaining. The problem isn't the airline, its the THIRD PARTY trash! They are all garbage and you don't need any of them, EVER!!! You can do better! Make your reservations DIRECTLY from this point on. Leave the third party horse manure to the low IQ people and the current generation which has little to no financial common sense!
