$102.34 - $79.76 = $22.58 increase in the price of a barrel of oil, but demand hasn't increased in such a way that would drive the price up, and Saudi Arabia agreed to produce more oil due to the uprising in Libya, right? Libya only supplies about 2% of the world's oil. So logic would dictate that a price increase of over 28% doesn't make much sense, correct?

28% of $79.76 = $22.33

$79.76 + $22.33 = $102.09

We know that the CEO of Blackstone was seen in Saudi Arabia in the first half of 2008, right? I'm sure you already 'Googled' the article entitled- MONEY TRAIL LEADS TO THE MIDDLE EAST BOSTON GLOBE, and read where he was seen 'strolling' through a hotel in Saudi Arabia, correct?
