StubHub I spent almost $1,000 on StubHub to surprise my daughters with 12th row, we arrived, someone else was in our seats with physical tickets with our seat numbers! I spent the entire concert trying to reach someone in customer service (never happened) while the confused venue ushers seated us in one of the last seats on the floor farthest from the center (the last 3 seats in the row to be exact). StubHub claims 100% customer satisfaction, but refused to refund me even $1!

Consider yourself warned …  I’m 46 and this is the FIRST time I have ever posted a business complaint online (that alone should tell you how frustrated I am!) I splurged and spent almost $1,000 on StubHub for tickets to take my daughters to see Christian artist Lauren Daigle in Kansas City on September 26th.  It was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience to sit in the 12th row, center.  If you go to StubHub’s website they claim, “Buy and sell with confidence”, “Customer Service all the way to your seat” and my favorite, “Every order is 100% guaranteed!”  

Our mobile tickets did allow us into the venue, but there were other people with physical tickets IN OUR SEATS.  With venue ushers unsure of how to handle the situation, they sat us in one of the LAST ROWS on the floor in the very last seats on the row… FARTHEST FROM THE CENTER .  I spent the entire concert trying to contact ANYONE in StubHub customer service (never happened.)

The next morning I immediately tried to call again and spent 2.5 HOURS on hold.  Long story short, I kept a detailed account WITH PHOTOS of my experience.  After 3 calls to customer service, 7 hours 36 minutes on hold, 2 promised return calls within 24 hours that never happened, and a final promise that my case would be reviewed and I would be contacted within 3 days (which ended up being 12 days), they did not even refund me $1!  

Again, you’ve been warned that StubHub DOES NOT STAND BUY THEIR CLAIMS OF 100% CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.  I love supporting and exposing my daughters to the arts- we attend a number of concerts, musicals, and other theater events every year.  

I just bought tickets to see Chris Isaak in December through TICKETMASTER- I will NEVER purchase through StubHub again!  Remember… you’ve been warned!
