AT & T Wireless 5G Rip Off Helotes TX

Wife's phone is running down so she wants to get a new one that is 5G. So we go into the AT&T cell phone store on Bandera Rd at 1604. Nice young man shows her a new 5G phone and touts all the advantages of their new 5G network. Kind of expensive for the new phone, but what the heck. We go in on Sunday, a year after she got her phone, to inquire about a new phone for me that is also 5G. Wife tells him about her 5G phone. He looks up our "plan" and tells us our plan is for 4G ONLY.

We have to change plans TO GET 5G. The little SOB who sold her an expensive 5G phone, but we didn't have a 5G plan and he never said anything about upgrading our old plan to 5G. So folks, if you're gonna spend the money to get a 5G phone, make sure your plan is upgraded. Otherwise it doesn't make any sense to buy a 5G phone. Pretty slimy.
