I ordered a vegan burger through Uber Eats, but when it arrived, it had cheese on it, making it inedible. I immediately contacted customer service, expecting a refund since I did not receive what I ordered. Instead, they refused to issue a refund, claiming that my order "matched,” even though a vegan burger should never come with cheese. I provided clear evidence of the issue, yet they only offered to "document my complaint” instead of resolving it. Despite acknowledging the mistake, they are keeping my money and leaving me with food I cannot eat. This is unacceptable, and Uber Eats needs to take responsibility for incorrect orders instead of ignoring customer concerns. I am warning others to be cautious, as their refund policies do not protect customers from receiving the wrong food.
