86th Street Photo And Video Didn't send ordered item, and impossible to contact Internet

I ordered a digital camera from 86th Street Photo and Video on Feb 14th, 2008. I received an email the next day requesting that I call to verify the order, which I did immediately. I was asked if I would like to buy expensive accessories such as batteries or SD cards, which I declined. I was told by Steve that my order would arrive in 2-3 weeks.

One month later, I had still not received my order nor had I heard anything from the company. I used the website contact form to request information as to the status of my order, and received no reply even though the website says that you will receive a reply in 2-3 business days. I then called the company and learned from Vincent that my order is on "backorder" for 2 weeks. I was unable to speak to someone higher up than Vincent despite the fact that he could giveme very little information. I asked for an email to be sent that would confirm that backorder which he said he would do right away. I never received an email.

Since then, I have emailed again on the contact us page on the website, and have tried to call but had to give up after being placed on hold for long periods of time. I have received nothing in writing since my intial order which was over 5 weeks ago.
