A Solid Gold Sound FALSE PROMISES of refunds repeatedly day after day for months. DJ Service not performed as per agreement for 2 seperate weddings. Edgewood Kentucky

I booked "A Solid Gold Sound" for DJ service for my wedding and my son's wedding in the later part of 2008. They were both paid for in full months in advance of the wedding dates of 07/19/08 and 08/16/08. To make this short and simple, I received very poor service for the July wedding and NO service for the August wedding.

After repeatedly contacting John Kruer, owner of the company, and being very patient and understanding of his many excuses, he promised us refund checks and informed us over and over that these had been mailed out on numerous occasions. We have yet to receive these refunds.

I have documented almost every conversation we have had and have received documentation via fax from the company stating these were mailed along with the amounts, check numbers and dates they were mailed. I have heard every excuse imaginable relating to this issue. Some of them twice. To date, we still have not received anything from them, not to mention the mental stress that we have all been through over this whole ordeal.

I really can't understand how a national company can get away with repeatedly not delivering as promised and then lying about it to as many clients as he has. I, myself have read report after report documenting other bad experiences against this same company. I really hope that something will get accomplished by making this complaint public.
