A Solid Gold Sound ripoff with fraudulent activity Edgewood Kentucky

I have just read Erin from Pittsburgh's ripoff complaint and would like to explain my complaint as well. I too, have encountered fraudulent activity with this company. Four months before my wedding, we requested their packet and received a very impressive one via mail. We called and faxed in our booking information. Three months prior to my wedding- the company called and asked the payment for the services of a videographer in full. My mother gave the go ahead to issue payment off of her credit card.

We made a big mistake. On the day of the event this older man did arrive ready to videotape our wedding. We thought things were going smoothly. once the event was over , little did we know we'd never see these supposed "tapes" again.

We have currently issued numerous calls to " A Solid Gold Sound " and have been tossed around in circles. We are going on four months now and have made slight progress. We did find out that the actual "videographer" that was hired to tape our event was holding our video footage amoungst others as hostage due to this company not paying him for his work. The video guy stated that he is hired via mail by this company and never sees or rarely talks to anyone from "A Solid Gold Sound" . He agreed to send the tapes out ASAP-but they would have to go back to "A Solid Gold Sound" before they came to us.
I called and spoke with the "President" -John Kruer who began to feed to me this whole story about two editors dieing and being behind. When I told this "John" that I had spoken with the videographer that still currently HAD our tapes - he was thrown for a loop. All he could do was continue to tell me that I had "no compassion for dead people". He even went as far as to ask me a hypothetical question: " When you walk into a Taco Bell and there is one employee there- do you expect to get your tacos right away?" I asked him why the videographer still had our tapes and this he could not answer.
We have since then found out that this John Kruer also has a website for "success seminars" which I find ironic...and he has other companies as well.

What I find most appalling is that "A Solid Gold Sound" has over 25 phone lines "nationwide" but only has two editors! This man is good at telling stories. All of his phone lines that he provides for other states all resort back to Kentucky. Their sales lines are still taking consumers left and right and their sales department told me they were not under staffed. They have lied to us from the start. We paid in full and now there is no product to back this service we purchased in return.
We are currently seeking information and putting together a plan of action against this company. I really feel sorry for anyone that chooses this horrible rip-off company as their choice for their big event.
