Aaron's Rental Riped-off for damages done by Aaron's Atlanta Georgia

Last Oct,07 my tenant used Aaron's furniture to get furniture for her apartment. The movers came with her stuff on a friday night to deliver it, while moving it into the house they had put holes in the wall and ceilling and scrached up a hardwood floor. They also took the front door of the apartment off the hinges, not by taking the rod out, but unscrewing it from the door frame. In the process they destroyed the furniture too.

Called Aaron's furniture in Malden,Ma to find out how I could get the money for the repairs, I was told to have an estimate made out by an contractor. That week I had a contractor make out an estimate for the damages, contractor had made it uot and Isent a copy to Aaron's that same day.

Two weeks past and heared nothing from them, so I called them and I was told that they needed another estimate with more details of the repairs. Once again called contractor to see if he could make out another one he agreed to do so. Sent the new estimate to Aaron's, still nothing from them, talked to Manager in Aaron's Malden office, "he asked if the contractor was real, because it looked like I'am made out the estimate" yes contractor is real he does his estimate on his computer (small business). Filed claim with BBB in Dec,07.

The BBB didn't hear from them until Feb of this year and that they were going to pay me for damages, since then talked to Craig Ritchie, the Regional Manager of the New England Region he "SAID THAT THEY WERE GOING TO SEND OUT A CHECK FOR THE DAMAGES" this was two weeks ago and still nothing. Last week called him about the check "he said that he was going to check on it and call me back " still nothing from them.
