When you first go into the store, they're so nice, sweet and professional; they even offer you a free soda. This was the case when I purchased a washer/dryer pair (Amanda) make. I was told there was a two year extended warrantee; first year was Amanda and the second year was Aaron's, which would kick in after the 12 months with Amanda. Well, I purchased the appliances on 1/15/09 and paid it off quickly; today's date is 1/28/2010 so you can see I just missed Amanda's warrantee cut-off date. I thought no problem, I still have Aaron's 12 more months of warrantee. Management refused to cooperate, in fact, there is now the absence of any semblance of professionalism; I was told to take it up the corporate ladder. This could only happen in this town; I'm from Los Angeles, CA and this matter would have been settled, one way or another, but with this backward town and their backward police department; their (Aaron's) will probably get away with this. Do not do business with Aaron's, regardless to location...

The true facts

AUTHOR: Aarons emp - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, February 15, 2010

First of all as an employee of Aaron's in the state of Texas I would like to send you apologies for what happened to you.  I work in the accounts department and I would like to share some insight into what happened.  On appliances like that Aaron's does not have a extended warranty.  When you pay out you have the option right there to purchase a warranty through the manufacturer. Which pops up on our screen as soon as we post your last payment or early payout.  Now what the employee misinformed you on was after you pay out and you are done with your lease you are covered with by Aarons for an additional 60 days.  That is part of the Aaron's Service Plus(ASP).  All stores are ran differently in how they work with there customers but the 60 days is guaranteed to you.  If you have any questions feel free to send them my way.  I hate the fact that this store has put a sour taste in your mouth about our company.  We are in business because of our customers and if what you are saying is true and you were in good standings as far as your payment history than in my mind you deserve to be treated with more respect.
