Ace Cash Express Company Represented as ACE Cash Express took $540 dollars and did not give Pay Day Loan San Antonio Texas

 On 01-03-14, My wife was contacted by a company representing themselves as Ace Cash Express, 108 Commerce St., San Antonio, Texas inquiring if she still wanted a pay day loan. They were offering her a $2000 loan for 12 months. She then contacted the company a Mr. Cooper (Heavy Indian Accent) and he said that he would run her information and call her back.

Mr. Cooper called her back and said that they would need $300 put on a paypal green dot to show a good faith effort to the lender that the account was active. So she pulled the $300 cash and put on a card and called him back with the number. He then told her it was still not going through as the FTC put a hold on the account because she owed a $1,200 medical bill. He then told her this coule be cleared if she paid the interest up front $240 and use the green dot again. She complied and there was still not a loan. At this time she was frustrated and asked me to call.

Mr. Anderson ("store associate") then answered but quickly turned the call over to Mr. Cooper ("Store Manager"), I asked where was the money and how do we get it back, because it was obvious we were not going to be funded. He asked me for an additional $242 and I told him no more. He stated " Oh so I guess you want your wife to go to jail for this past due account", I told him that with that phrase I knew this was not a scam nd I would be calling the appropriate authorities. He hung up. The number used (a magic jack number) 210-401-7664

 We checked with a Local Ace Cash Express and On-line and there is not an office at above address and they would never collect money up front for a loan.
