First of all, this is what i am being approached with:
This is in reference to your Account number 4875133 with ACS in order to notify you that after making several calls to you on your phone number, we were not able to get hold of you. So the legal department of ACS has decided to mark this case as a flat refusal and press charges against you.
Your account with ACS is in Final Collections. According to our records, your outstanding balance is $893.37.
Do revert back if you want to get rid of these legal consequences and make a payment arrangement within the next 48 hours or else the case will be downloaded against you.

Mind you I haven't had a bank account since 2007. Just a Cash card from which i have all documentation of all transactions and I told them this. Yet they still harass me.

These jerks must be in another country as their terminology and poor understanding of our legal system is obvious.
Tell them to go ahead and "download this case"....idiots.
The wording of the demand would indicate a threat of criminal prosecution. (Illegal).
And, they can only sue for the base amount owed + interst allowed by the contract at the contract rate unttil charge off, then the post charge off interest rate as allowed by law..., any then other "costs" must be awarded by the court. So...how does $893.37 become $3379.87???? (Impossible).
I can tell you for sure that this "legal dept" does not have even 1 actual licensed attorney on staff! Probably just a bunch of minimum wage pimply faced juveniles in cubicles...
