Affirmative Insurance Too Stupid To Have Draft Access To Your Checking Account Internet

Do not allow Affirmative Insurance to have draft access to your checking account.  No matter what the amount is on the statement, they draft an arbitrary amount from your checking account.  Regardless of the draft date, they will draft the payment whenever they feel like it.

When you alter your policy and the premium amount needs to be recalculated, they won't be able to perform the simple math to calculate the new premium.  From the point where you make the change to the end of your policy term, you will again make arbitrary payments of varying amounts...all of them different.

Some months, they will draft 2 payments...no one will be able to explain why this happened.  The next month, even though they drafted 2 months of payments the previous month, they will draft yet ANOTHER payment.  

When you call them to ask why the payment problems are happening, they will tell you to call your agent.  When your agent calls them, they will tell him that they don't know what happened.  

I would be absolutely terrified to file a claim with these people.  Since they have so many problems calculating a payment and collecting it, its not likely that filing a claim would go smoothly.
