I recently had a move with the above company and when my furniture arrived it was damaged, missing items, even suitcases and items being opened and taken out. I moved from Bluffton SC to Pekin IL and was told that everything would be handled professionally, I had my items in storage due to moving back to IL and Jonathan assured me that it would be protectd and wrapped. I received a quote and told it was good for 30 days. Not the case it was increased by 400 and the move was within the 30 days. I have an antique 1950's bar that they moved and the leg is now broken. I don't know the value of it. My bookcases were damaged beyond repair and these were in perfectly good condition as well as my cd towers that were being moved as well. My couch cushions were filthy, as well as scratches all over all of my wood furniture. My end table was missing glass when it arrived so now I can't even use, and that is banged up so bad. WHen the truck arrived they had a bed frame sitting up on top of everything where it could slide from side to side. My end table just appearing to be thrown in. I contacted Jonathan the director of operation immediately when they arrived, he didn't listen to what I was telling him, did nothing about he cost and said I couldn't even have a copy of the inventory sheet because I refused to sign it because it stated that I received everything in good condition of which I did not. so I refused to sign. I contacted the owner, eric, as well and did nothing just keeps telling me in the wrong. I am missing suitcases, glass, damaged furniture, furniture I can't even use, clothing, leather coat, digital cameras there were in totes that were opened and things taken out. Even my mattresses were dirty, I left fitted sheets on my beds to keep them clean when they went into storage, and they took them off. I am missing everything that went to those beds.
When they arrived one of th movers kept walking around my home in Il saying he lost his clipboard, going into rooms that he had no reason to go into. I felt like I was being cased out. There was no reason to go into rooms they knew they didn't even move anythng into...clipboard was in the truck. This mover proceeded to yell at me in my drive way when I was telling him that he was supposed to write everything down that didn't arrive and was damaged as Jonathan told me should be done. He refused and when he called the office he had it on speaker with Jonathan yelling so the whole neighborhood could hear. There was no need for his attitude.
I feel I was massively ripped off, not only in cost but the damage and nothing being done by the owner or director of operations. I have filed a claim but even they didn't listen to the entire list as they said I would have to list it in the packet that would come. Something tells me this is going to be a fight to the end.
SO much for professionalism and customer service and calling your customer a liar in what happend. I am SO UNHAPPY with them, and what my furniture looks like. They didn't care they just threw things. The movers are LAZY!

I am working with All My Sons Moving and We Care Claims after speaking with again yesterday and was assured that I will be receiving a settlement check soon.

Having just received a call from We Care Claims and spok with Charlie regarding my settlement check for $301.20 after 6 months. I was advised through her by Eric that I needed to clear the Rip Off Report. I am doing that now and stating that I am working with the Claims in order to get this taken care. Right now it is stated that once I clear this that my check will be issued immediately per Charlie at We Care Claims.
