All State Financial Prize Winning Payout Fraud Ontario Canada

As most have indicated, I received a letter stating that I had won a prize from a "Consumer Promotion Draw" and with the letter was enclosed a valid looking bank check for $4,970 dollars stating that is was provide for payment of taxes on the $250,000 prize money. The letter istructs you to contact a claims agent for further instructions (in my case Monica Hill at 7-778-316-7338).
I called and spoke to a woman who actually answered the phone. I asked her what the name of her company was and she infirmed All State Financial. I asked for a web site to verify the where abouts and she gave me www.allstatefinancial.com (of course no match for the business) I immediately contacted the bank listed on the check to verify the legitimacy and the bank confirmed it was a fraud. I am so glad I had the common sense to call first. However, it made me very angry that in these harsh econimic times that many people out of desperation will be taken advantage off. If there is a law suite against this company I am will to help prosecute to the fullest extent of the law!
