Alliance Law Center San Diego ALC Lied to, stolen from and ignored. , San Diego, California

Apparently my story is the same as nearly everyone who has written a compliant about Alliance Law Center.  To keep it brief:

My story start back in March 2009 when I lost a large portion of my income due to corporate cut backs. I met an employee at an business networking meeting. He told me of ALC and their promise to help or a I get all my money back. He even told me of a family who had gotten a beneficial loan modification but it wasn't exactly what the family wanted and they still got a full refund.  I was told and sold on a 100% guarantee that I would get help or get my money back. I was skeptical so I called ALC and spoke with another representative asked the same questions I asked the first gentleman I had spoken with and got the same answer.  I decided to use ALC for the sake of my family due to the 100% money back guarantee.  I did reseach and call other attorney's offering the same services even so I felt ALC was the best deal. 

April 6, 2009 I had paid $3500 to ALC ($3500 that my family truly needed, I felt the sacrifice was worthy when they helped me lower my mortgage). All the requested paper work was submitted to ALC by April 6, 2009 and my package was reviewed by an attorney (or so I was told) and approved as being an easy case being that I was suffering financial hardships and my house was 'upside down', I owed more than my home was said to be worth. 

May comes around and I have not heard anything from ALC for approximately month. I called and emailed numerous times asking for an update.  When I did get a returned email I was told I needed to resubmit everything for a second time.  I asked why and was told that they needed to be sure everything was upto date.  So I got everything they asked for again and submitted. 

I did not hear anything back for a few weeks.  When I did they asked for all my paper work yet again for the third time.  I did as they asked.

Weeks pasted, I called numerous times and emailed numerous times only to be pasted to voicemail boxes that were full and emails that were returned undeliverable.

I later find out the my "team" had quit. I then get a letter from my lender saying that ALC had failed to meet a deadline given weeks ago therefore my case had been denied!! This was the last week of July. ALC was informed by my lender weeks prior. I had been calling and emailing the since June asking for help.  Now it is September 1 after literally 6 weeks of endless mails and calls to every email address I have for ALC and to the owner Cameron Edwards. I have heard NOTHING back from anyone.  My family desparately needs our money, I still have not found full time work. Our savings are nearly dry.

I trusted Cameron Edwards, the owner of ALC and I am hurting because of it.  I feel as if, no I know for a fact that I was lied to and stolen from. 

I am asking for nothing more than my $3500 dollars back for my family.
