Allied Data Corporation This company violates the FDCPA don't give them a dime without a DV letter Houston Texas

Well I first got my call from Allied Data Corporation on September 12, 2006. The lady who called me was very rude. She told me that I owed money to AVON and I had 48 hours to pay or they will be forced to take legal action against me and I would go to jail.

I informed her that I was no longer a rep for AVON and No one from AVON has informed me of any type of debt. I told her that I was going to dipute their claim and she told me that I couldn't dispute it until I gave the $100. Well I knew that was bull because you can dispute any debt without paying a dime. I told her that I wasn't going to pay something that I didn't owe. That I was going to speak with AVON myself. She told me that she would put it in my file.

The very next day I was contacted again only this time it was by a Barbara. She informed me that she was an "Attorney" and my case had been turned over to her because I refused to pay a debt to Avon. That caught my attention. Well as our conversation progressed she told me that she worked for Allied Data Corporation. She told me that she had an affidavit on her desk and if I didn't come up with the money by 5:00p.m. she was going to file against me. Well none of this was true of course. It was just her way of trying to bully me into giving them money.

There is so much more to this story and if someone has the same story and want to take action against this company please contact me...THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED!
