Allied Publishers Service Of Mid Atlantic States Forced me to pay for magazines i dont read and never ordered Buffalo New York

A few years ago I started getting a bill in the mail. I dont recall the exact amount. I contacted the company (mentioned above) and they stated I had ordered all of these different magazines and that the deal was if i made double payments for 2 1/2 years then the second half of the 2 1/2 years i would receive them for free (5 year deal).

My first comment was "I never ordered any magazines" then said something on the lines of "I dont read magazines, not the ones sent me" (Playboy, Maxim, Stuff, Some car magazine, rolling stones, espn, and a few others) I told them to stop sending them to me. They stated that I ordered them and I would have to pay the bill and that even if they did stop the order i still had to pay the bill and if i didnt it would be placed poorly on my credit report, which i dont care about. Well being young a naive i just said ok, fine whatever.

Well this past winter Feb 07' I believe; I finished paying it. I got my tax refund in and called them and asked them the remaining balance on the account so i could get it out of my hair. The total was around $200. I sent them the payment and didnt hear another word from them about it. Well this past week I went and got my mail and there it was, a bill from this company. I opened the bill and the new total was $141.18.

While I have been getting these stupid magazines in the mail I dont even open them, for a long time i threw them directly in the garbage at the post office. But then i started dropping them off at my place of employment becuase i figured someone there would read them. And they do. I am not paying this bill regardless what happens to my credit, and the way that i fought with the many people on the phone about the whole situation in the beginning at home and at work has pissed me off extremely.

Bad credit is the least of my worries. When you are unemployed, not collecting unemployment, welfare, disability or whatever other give out the govt gives people, I do odd jobs for people like mow a lawn, or paint a room, getting enough money to eat....So even if i wanted to I cant pay this bill. I am too the point of "going postal" on someone at this company. And talking to someone that can clearly speak english (i am hard of hearing, nothing to do with race) or someone of management is a complete waste of time.

This monday I do plan on calling this company and I will talk to the highest person I can find. I cant threaten to sue them because i have no money for a lawyer, and for only a couple hundred bucks i am not sue happy like the rest of this nation is. But something will be done about it. I want the d**n magazines to stop coming and cluttering up my mailbox, I want the bills to stop coming, and (even though it hasnt started yet but i am sure it will, but i dealt with it in the beginning) i want the harrassing phone calls to stop also.
