Allied Publishers Service Of Mid Atlantic States Miami Valley Magazine Service Harrassing Calls at Work - Magazine Subscription Rip Off Buffalo, New York

Two months ago I received a call at work offering free magazine subscriptions. As I operate a busy switchboard, I am used to getting these calls, and attempted to get rid of them quickly.  The calls continued, and out of desperation I agreed to take one of their introductory offers of a free magazine. This escalated to a payment plan for several magazines and verbal agreement. Honestly, I agreed to it just to get them off the phone. While their "deal" sounds good on the surface, their rates are much higher than can be obtained elsewhere. Unfortunately, their calls continued, and they even had the audacity to ask for my credit card number and security code!  I can't imagine anyone would be stupid enough to give that to anyone over the phone, and told them as much. Upon receiving their "agreement" in the mail and doing futher investigation, I have found NUMEROUS complaints about them, most through the BBB.  I am sending  a letter to cancel our agreement, and after reading of others experiences, fully expect it to turn into a battle.
