*Consumer Suggestion: scam
I was called several times last weekend and told to send a money gram to them when I refused the man got ugly and cursed so I hung up. Later this week I received a check for 4800.00 and told to contact a man by the name of Jim Morris @ 1778-858-1415. They say he is a claims agent and will start the process ofsending me a check for 450,000.00 I do not believe this is real and don't want to be scammed I work way to hard for what I do have and can't afford to loose anything what should I do?

This is a scam and you should contact your Attorney General or the F.B.I. about this and hold on to the check or any other info. that might have been given to you. I was almost a victim to one of these frauds and reported to the F.B.I. these people kept e-mailing and calling me on my cell phone even after I told them I had talked to the authorities. Don't give them a cent. As a matter a fact if you feel like cussing at them and telling them all kinds of nasty things, go ahead! They aren't real people anyways.
