Alltel consumer rip-off fraud Huntington West Virginia

I have had a cell phone through Alltel for over a year. For most of that time, I have been fighting with Alltel over the problems I have been having with their crappy service. It first started with my phone not getting good reception where I live. I went in and was told that it was where i live and there was nothing they could do about it. Next, calls to my phone were not ringing in. It did not even show up on the phone that I had missed a call. It wasn't until I checked my voice mail, sometimes the next day that I would find out that I had a missed call or calls.

Again I went to Alltel and I was told that it was the weather, but to be sure to call in everytime I had a problem when it happened. How am I supposed to call in when I don't know when the phone hasn't rang in. I went in to talk to someone at Alltel yet again and the guy was nice that I talked to told me that my only option was to buy another phone since mine was obviously defective. He then told me that it would have been covered by the werrenty, but it had expired two months before.

I do not know how many times I have been into Alltel to complain about my phone and at no point did anyone tell me "Oh, we think your phone is defective and it's covered by warrenty". No, they wait until after the warrenty is gone to tell me. Coincidence, I think not. I want out of this crappy contract that is obviously cheating people.
