Alltel Ripoff Rude failed to provide minimal service expect termination fee! Little Rock Arkansas

August 6,2006. Today I spoke with a member of your management and requested cancellation of this contract without prejudice due to failure of Alltel to fulfill my simple requirement of being able to place or receive a phone call. I originally went to your store number 6034 in Oklahoma City to discuss trading up to a better phone as the Soho unit continues to turn itself off when pressed in my pocket. They said it would cost me $109 which I rejected.

They were totally indifferent to me and resumed doing what they had been doing. Rather rude I thought. Well, no time to deal with it. I spent a week in SE Okla where I could receive no signal although those who were with me continued to have excellent signals with their service. On May 29th I call Alltel and spoke with the tech department who made some adjustments and told me to try again. Last week I was 50 miles South of Kansas City and had no signal, although the people with me who had service. I feel that I have done myh part and that Alltel has failed miserably to fulfill their responsibility and again request you cancel this account and waive termination fee. Since that time they have hassled me in every possible way and rejected my complaint to the FCC.

Apparently there is no circumstance that Alltel will admit their poor service and will continue to attempt to wear me down to pay the $200 termination fee. They have used more of their time than it is worth already and there is no circumstance that I will ever pay them this unjust fee. FCC advises that I may pay a fee and provide more evidence if I wish to pursue my complaint. So, I am left to my own devices but fortunately I have a Cingular cell phone that is excellent and I dare say there is nothing that Alltel can do to me to collect this outrageous fee.
