Altell land Line and DSL ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing Louisville Kentucky

I had the phone serviced installed since fall of 2005, since the first bill there were "directory assistance" calls with a long distance number listed.

Called customer service and the first three time it was taken care of but then in the next bill a was charge the same amount for some web site I never heard of.

Had to call again and it took around two more bills for these charges to be cleared up.

However, on the next bill there was a again a long distance charge for "directory assistance" calls. I was very angry because it was cleared that I was being charge extra whether it was described one way or the other.

I called and explained that I had only LOCAL service and DSL that it was illogical to be charge for a long distance service where I had no long distance.

The representative HUNG up on me!! Then I called again but the guy said that "there is nothing I can do about it" !!!

Boy, I was fed up, and told him that I had never used DIRECTORY ASSISTANCE, I made very limited local calls (family and work) and know all the numbers by memory (they are all LOCAL!!!!!!!), have NEVER USED the service!!

Well, inspite of being honest and trying to not shout I was treated as a liar and a criminal.

Nothing was done or has been done, I have also reported that there is bad LOUD static on the phone while is hung up on the wall, I was promised a check up of the line, but it was only a promised.

NOTHING has been done execpt keep on charching me late feeds and "directory Assistance" calls of around $15.00

The customer service is the poorest and the supervisor is never "in" when asked to speak with him/her.

They have records of everysingle number dialed and then at one time I was told that "DA" could be the 411 number (service I have no need for) what they have listed is a number with a long area code. One word to describe it CORRUPTION!!!
