Search for books at Amazon last month, transition to checkout page but my card was declined. On the final page you select to FREE shipping options. However, I did not process the order and just abandoned the purchase. One month later I receive $79 charge to AmazonPrime which is membership service for discounts and other incentives. Well, I did sign up for this membership and was quite angry Amazon used my credit card 30 days later. After making a call to there customer service nd line I was told when I selected FREE shipping I automatically enrolled in AmazonPrime and had 30 trail before being charges. My money was refunded however, this is one of the lowest form to cheating, stealing I have been a victim of. These tactics make consumers question the protection process of shopping online. SCAM, FRAUD

I am not sure..

I would love to see a proof of screen shot. I am quite sure that there would be at least a small print stating that the Free Shipping comes with signing up for Amazon Prime (which is a normal online marketing tactic). It seems that a lot of people who complaint about buying something online without noticing are those who do NOT read but their eyes are glued to the FREE button only.
