This company is a complete rip off.  They are only looking for people with ZERO EXPERIENCE because a guy like me who has been in the aviation business for 32 years knows the score.  I started in the Marines as a flight mechanic and door gunner.  First off;  AIRCRAFT MECHANICS - NO EXPERIENCE NECCISSARY.  Well folks, you need an Airframe and Powerplant license from the FAA to work on aircraft.  I have one so I know.  I am also a pilot and an electronics technician.  These people are out to collect as many $39 fees as they can.  Since they send you some crap they can legally sell it to desperate people.

Don't get involved with these scammers, I'm certified with every airline in this country and when I spoke to HR at SWA, Delta, United, Allegiant and 7 others.  They warned against this organization and said they have zero affiliation with them.  Of course they asked me; "Chris, why are you asking us this, you know how hiring is done and where we post jobs"  "On our websites, thru JSFirm.com and we hire from the aviation labor contract companies like Plane Techs, Strom, SMART, STS and the list goes on"

I been working in the Airline business since Christ was a corporal, stay away from these people!!  if your between the ages of 18-26 join the military and select an aviation career path, I got hired by Boeing the day I was discharged.  Don't fall for this complete scam with the lamest webpage you will ever see.  I swear the people doing this are in middle school or outside the USA.

American Careers LLC

AUTHOR: Roysfree - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, December 16, 2015

To the agency client who's waiting for an interview to a job. You really missed the point; you replied in the rebuttal that you're satisfied about the help you received from your fee to this alleged scam company and is waiting for a interview for a airline job. You would be more credible if you had the job. Your dollars went into somebody pocket and your paper work went iithe wastebasket. Don't hold your breath.

NEVER pay for a job!

First off, American Careers is NOT associated with any airline or aiport.  They are not a staffing agency.  They can't arrange interviews for you or be put you in a position.  Your $39.00 gets you information that is FREE FREE FREE all over the internet!  Even if you are a complete idiot who can't read, you still don't have to pay money to get free resume/job-hunting tips.  There are organizations everywhere that will offer you FREE assistance.  Libraries and churches can put you in touch with resources that are free of charge.  Contact your local social services office and they will provide you names and numbers of people that will help you.  Most counties have what's called vocational rehab counselors and they will help you one on one for free.  You don't have to needlessly pay for career advice, people.  Keep your $39 and put gas in your car or pay for bus tickets to get to job interviews.  If you really want to work in the aviation business, you will need to apply directly to each airline.  If you have the necessary skills and qualifications, you will get an interview. American Careers is NOT part of the process.

Someone in Dunedin Florida doesn't have their facts straight

AUTHOR: Carolyn - ()

POSTED: Sunday, September 07, 2014

I can see bashing a company if you have a slight clue of what they are about and the services that they offer.  This person obviously doesn't have 1 clue of what American Careers offers.  Here is what they offered me.  They offered me assistance in writing my resume, cover letter, thank you letter etc.  They helped me to decide what positions to apply for.  It is overwhelming to know what positon best fits my qualfications.  I have had 4 interviews thanks to the assistance of American Careers.  I am waiting to hear if I got the job from any of the interviews that I have had.  I am very satisfied with the assistance that I have gotten.  I am no rocket scientist, but I do know that I have not been scammed.  I could have paid a whole lot more for the assistance that I have gotten.  Talk about what you know, preach what you know, leave the rest of us to spend our money how we see fit and get a job how we see fit.  Lord knows, the local labor depts. haven't helped me.

Peace be with you...troubled heart!!

American Careers is Legit

AUTHOR: LaChanda - ()

POSTED: Thursday, September 04, 2014

With all do respect sir, not all of us have 32 years of avaition experience.  American Careers is not a rip off.  They are a legit company that are around to help people like me.  I have been in the customer service industry for 15 years.  I worked @ the hospital, my kids are grown now and I want to travel.  I want to see the world and be a flight attendant.  Any idiot knows that you can't go in and be a mechanic or a pilot right off of the bat...it takes education for that.  I know first hand the help of American Careers provides.  If you are going to read the ad, then do the research.  Call the company if you are that stupid.  They will tell you that you have to have experience.

Dude, you are certified with every airline in this country???  Meaning that you are the head guy for all of the airlines.  Who is pulling the wool over someones eyes now?  I know with your certification that you can work with the airlines if you have the experience that they require.  You act as if you are the CEO of every airline that does hiring and firing for all of these airlines.  Get Real, you wouldn't be on here unless you had nothing better to do than to trash what you truly don't know crap about.

When you call into American Careers they let you know first hand that they will help you with the hiring process, they ask you what positions you are interested in and what you have to do to obtain your desidered postion.  There is no arm twisting, no bullying, no scams, they tell you what is what.  If you aren't willing to put forth effort and hard work you aren't going to obtain a position.  Quite frankly, I respect what you have done for our country, but get a clue on the rest of the world and do your research before posting lies on a company that you know nothing about.  Oh yeah, and don't give these people on here false hope, my nephew was in the military (Navy) in the early 90's.  Went the avaition route, was top in everything got out of the military and there was no job waiting.  Today his is successful because of his hard work and dedicaiton.  You have to know someone to get hired at these places...you have to have a way in.  As you probably did.  DUAH.

As far as myself, I am not stupid and know what I want.  I will get there with some added help.  You do it the military way.  I will do it my way.  What is the worst that can happen??? I get my $39 back because I didn't succeed.  It won't be because American Careers hasn't spent the time with me that I needed.  I have had my career counselor on the phone 2 times today already.

Best of Luck and God Bless.
