I just received a phone call from a man with American Credit Services. He said I had an outstanding pay day loan in the amount of $1,095. He wanted attorney information and debit card information.
The scary thing about it was he knew the last 4 digits of my social security number, my dad's name, and my friends name. He stated that if I did not pay him today, that myself, my father, and my friend were all going to court in the morning to face 3 charges of something or another.
Everyone I talked to had very heavy middle eastern accents, and were very hard to understand. I asked where the loan originated and he said that it was irrelevant, and I needed to pay it immediatley. So, I told him he was irrelevant and hung up. Luckily, I was right. It was a scam thanks to info on this site! Whew!

Do not give them any imformation. The next time they call tell them you know this is a scam and you reported them to the local PD and the FBI . I would also tell them "Kiss my a-- and hang up . If I were you I would cuss them out like a sailor.
