This company is a scam to get money from people promising them a job when they have nothing to do with the actual job and you do not get employed. I wasted my money and they did not do what they said they would do.

This company promised a job within 60 days for a fee of $69. It has been 4 months and I am still unemployed. When I called, they gave me the runaround.

They use tactics to get you. They know the economy is so bad right now that people are desperate for a good paying job. What this company will do is advertise on jobsites such as Careerbuilder.com;Myspacejobs.com, etc. Their advertisement looks like this:

#2 UPDATE Employee

Response to Kommanderkool

AUTHOR: Scott - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 08, 2010

As as customer service representative of American Data Group, I am responding not to the original report, but to the posting by the person purporting to be a former employee of our company, who identifies himself as "Kommanderkool."  As I am not aware of any past employees here with that name, I assume that it is a pseudonym; the part of his posting that caught my eye was the section stating that American Data Group "instructs their employees to listen in on the verification process. blatantly illegal. workers take the heat, and the bosses get off scot-free!--"

The only thing I can think of that this might refer to is our practice of recording all of our sales calls, and then reviewing these calls to ensure that the sales representative has accurately stated all of the information to the caller about our company, billing practices, etc.  If it is found that a sales operator has misstated anything, inadvertantly or otherwise, he or she is corrected in writing, the writeup is filed for future reference and to track compliance, and if the violation is serious the customer may be notified to clarify the situation.

If an operator makes it a habit of misrepresenting facts and information about our service or billing practices, and is therefore written up, reprimanded, disciplined in other ways, up to and including suspension or termination, it is likely that he or she would find this policy of quality control frustrating or objectionable; I cannot imagine that anyone else would, and it is certainly absurd and innaccurate to state that enforcing compliance with company standards could be "blatantly illegal[!]"

Since it is impossible to tell who this writer actually is, I cannot vouch for the circumstances of his departure from American Data Group; but I think the substance of his posting offers some possible scenarios.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

they told us to prey on you........

AUTHOR: Kommanderkool - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 24, 2009

i have worked for this telemarketing company too. almost everybody in there is a drug addict or drunk, either in recovery or still actively using. i got a job there and was told by the boss lady to insinuate that i worked for the us government without actually coming out and saying it. i was told to assume an authoritative air, and to talk down to folks, and i would sell. i heard the bosses and long time employees joking about "people from the sticks" and how easy it is to sell them this BS employment packet. the info contained in the packet can be obtained for free online. they try to sucker people into buying this information with the promise of getting a job. this is particularly depressing because the vast majority of people are poor working class folks trying to get a decent job at a decent living wage, and spending their hard earned money to get ripped off by these blood-sucking leeches. this company is parasitic. i am not proud of working for them. what could i do though, it was the only place i could find a job. you gotta eat, right?
----also, this company, like singular solutions of las vegas, nv, instructs their employees to listen in on the verification process. blatantly illegal. workers take the heat, and the bosses get off scot-free!-- (refer to singular solutions report for more info on this insidious practice)
