This is afterall Rip off report.  It's redundant to list a business here and then call it a rip off.  If the OP told their story of how they were scammed by this notice by responding to it then, they would look foolish.  To any intelligent person this looks and smells like a rip off.

did not cash check.  called agent to activate check.  also asked if this was legitimate and he responded, "yes".  Then contacted ripoff to report this.  My first time dealing with this so report may not have been to everyones approval but i tried so no one else would get this.  Thank you.

North American Direct Sweepstakes They sent me a big check that looked real, so I called the number in the letter and he said that all I had to do is go and deposit the check in the bank and then call him back. I called the bank that was displayed on the check and they told me it was a fake check, so I called him back and he wanted the banks number and the name of the person and said he would call me right back.
