A Bargersville resident and a member of  the Johnson County Fire Dept experienced a major fire loss to her own home with her 4 children on Dec 16th 2011 before Christmas.  After recovering from the hospital and escaping a fatal fire, she felt that the old Peace of Mind Gold Star Special Deluxe Form insurance policy sold by agent Robert Bauchle for American Family Insurance would protect her from financial ruin. Nine months later today, she has awoken and now faces the nightmare with her children who have had to endure living out of their car3 times and are once again being evicted for lack of any payments from AMFAM. The carrier admits they are still investigating and reviewing the loss with little to no regard for the policyholder well being.

The agent has not been seen and the Madison, WI management team has shown a clear path of indifference and prejudice towards a single mother struggling to keep her home. The peace of mind sold by AMFAM is truly sales hype and worthless when your homeless. They clearly are practicing the industry business practice known as delay deny defend to not only  reduce claim payments  but decline paying what is owed.  Only unscrupulous carriers would put profit ahead of a proper adjustment in a timely manner.
