DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! American Home Solutions (AHS) took advantage, financially, of my elderly parents (Financial Exploitation). They contacted my parents and stated that they where from the Cities Water Department, and told them that they had gotten reports of bad water in the area.
They did not hesitate to send a door to door salesmen to thier home, and to only mislead my Vulnerable parents into signing a 5 year contract for a Water Purifying system at a ridiculous interest rate of 18%. The contract was not explained to them in detail, nor was the cancelation period (3-day period. My parents called the sales person several times, to inform him of thier decision to cancel the contract. They did not receive any calls from the 4 messages left on their voice mail.
The companies website does not have any direct numbers or e-mail addresses. I filed a complaint against the sales person and sent a written letter (certified mail) notifying AHS of thier decision to cancel. It has been two week with no response what so ever. Thousands of Americans are targeted and takend advantage of by companies like AHS, and if not reported ,they will continue to do so.

American Homes Solutions refused to settle my claim.

After months of writing letters to the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission and the company it's self, they refused to cancel the contract and pickup thier equipment. AHS accused me of being a meddling son (sticking my nose in my parents business), and called me a fraud for considering them eldery, which was very insulting! They did not even bother to make a personal phone call to try and settle this claim like a professional company would.
