American Legal Services Sarah Williams swilliam Email with attachment pdf saying i own money final notification internet

Received an email dated March 27, 2014, stating that this was a final notification. This is regarding a supposed debt. The email was from a Sarah Williams with American Legal Services. The layout of the email seemed fishy. Was not addressed to me specifically in this email.

I had read a previous report from another individual on your website stating the similar situation. Stating if I did not pay my debt that my local sheriff's office in my state would be notified and I would be arrested by tomorrow. I have never received any emails from this organization prior to this time. Find it fishy that all of a sudden I would get a Final Notice. Stating that I owed $445.59 as a settlement. I have no knowledge of such a settlement being agreed to or even contacted on anytime prior to this email notification.

I entered American Legal Services and there phone number. Automatically google pulled up your website and several others listing this company as a scam. When I called this phone number listed I also got a man's voice with a heavy indian accent. Same as listed in a previous complaint from another individual on your website. So I automatically felt the need to register on your site and state my email notification.

I hope that this will help others to come forward and mention issues with this organization as well.

Hopefully this company can be stopped from trying to coherce people into handing over their money via debit or credit card. Mind you have no problem paying my debts provided it is done legally. If this was a debt i overlooked than why isnt a collection agency calling me to obtain it?
