American Signature Furniture Made in China, not North Carolina - only "branded" furniture under warranty Atlanta, Georgia

When we first went to ASF the salesman told us that all ASF was made in North Carolina and the quality was assured by the lifetime warranty. We have had our living room furniture for just over a year and it is garbage. The main support in the ottoman broke so it now sags. There is about 2 feet of a spring poking out the side of the couch and visible broken springs under the cushions. Also, the foam used for all the seating is a very low density and needs to be replaced already.

So we went in and spoke to the CS manager who informed us that the lifetime warranty is only for "American Signature BRANDED Furniture" - which is the stuff made in North Carolina. All of the other crap is made in China!! And that only has a one year warranty. Awesome, huh? Luckily they are fixing it as a courtesy, but I'm still rather aggravated that we were mislead by the salesman in the first place.

So, if you are considering shopping there, make sure you are getting the "branded" furniture and not furniture thrown together in a Chinese sweat shop with poor craftsmanship.
