I was a customer of Amerigas for approximately 13 years.  I did not use enough gas for their automatic fill up so they would charge me a higher rate then someone who had used more gas.  I asked them to stop filling up until I called them.  They then charged me a tank rental fee.  I asked them in May to remove my tanks that I no longer wanted to use them.  They do not remove them until I called two more times in June and finally in July and spoke to a manager.  They finally removed them in August and charged me a removal fee on top of that.  They never sent me a bill telling me how gas was left in my tank.  They sent me two late payment fees of $35 each.  I did not pay the first one because they gave it to me in August three months after I asked them to remove the tanks.  I knew there was gas in the tanks because we rarely use them.  They told me they have no record of me calling in May or June but my phone records say otherwise.  They are scammers.  They will nickel and dime you.
