Beware of Anytime Fitness in Uniontown Pa. They have you sign a contract for a year and pay a deposit of 70 for a key card to use their gym which they explained would be returned once the key card was returned. A complete lie they don't return the 70 deposit for the key card. After several months of calling and telling them we did not wish to renew the contract they renewed it anyway. They have charged us over 4 months after our membership was cancelled. During the 12 month period the payment taken from our account was to be 40 but over 6 months they charged us 60. That 20 more a month from what we agreed to. When we called to complain they told us that our bank was at fault and our account was over drafted. Which we even offer to take them a copy of our bank statement to prove this was not the case. They refused to refund the extra 20 charged. When calling the staff is Rude and will Cuss you Out. This gym is a complete rip off. There is another gym in uniontown called planet fitness they charge only 20 dollars a month and that includes alot of perks including tanning which anytime fitness charges an extra 40 for that to. Even when calling to explain that they continue to bill me for a gym membership I cancelled they claim no one ever called even though both my husband and I have called several times and when I tell them about over charging over a six month period they claim that was the old staff and they have a complete new staff. Yet refuse to refund the extra 4 months they billed after I cancelled and the extra 20 over the last 6 months of the contract. I have other reviews online of them doing the same things to alot of other people don't be ripped off by them too.
