Apple ITunes iTunes - Fraud - Site NOT secure Internet, California

My credit card company's fraud department called to asked about 5 iTunes purchases made earlier in the morning.  They totaled about $233.00. I told them I did not make the charges, nor did anyone in the house make the charges.  They told me to dispute the charges when I receive the statement. I tried all day trying to contact iTunes, but was finally told that they have no customer service telephones and that I would need to e-mail my questions and expect a reply in 48 hours.  48 hours came and went.  I finally received a lengthy e-mail with standard company language which did not address my main issue.  The issue is - How can someone get my credit card number, security code, Apple ID and Apple password needed to make the fraudulent purchases.  The only place all that information is stored is on the Apple iTunes site itself!  I think the Apple iTunes site has a security problem, but no one is being told.  I have an iPhone and must update it at iTunes which requires one to register and leave a credit card number on file.   Be careful at the iTunes site!
