Appliancesconnection.com appliances connection DON'T BUY FROM APPLIANCESCONNECTION.COM! They sound so nice, but it's all LIES! Brooklyn, New York

DO NOT BUY from Applicancesconnection.com!!!  They lied to me multiple times to keep me from filing a PayPal dispute.  First I was told over and over again that they had sent new units.  Then I was told not to worry because I would get all my parents money back as soon as the freight company delivered the units back to them.  It was all lies.  I ordered a washer and dryer for my Mom and Dad on 03/10/10.  It was delivered on 04/01/10.  The bottom of the Bill of Lading states in bold letters:

"CUSTOMER MUST OPEN BOX & INSPECT ITEM AFTER SIGNING FOR ITEM***IF CUSTOMER DOES NOT INSPECT, DO NOT DELIVER**DRIVER MUST WAIT FOR THE CUSTOMER TO OPEN BOX.  CALL IMMEDIATELY WITH ANY DAMAGE AT 866-361-4228"

The driver made me sign the Bill of Lading before he would unload the units.  Then the driver said he was late and refused to wait for me to open the boxes after I signed for them.  Upon opening them I found both units extensively damaged (unusable).  I called the driver about 5 minutes after he left to report damage, he said he could not return and I would have to call Applicancesconnection. 

I first called ICAT (freight company) at the number listed on the Bill of Lading and was again told I needed to call Applicancesconnection.  I called Applicancesconnection and talked to a "Franco" who told me that if I would take pictures of the damage and email them to him he would expedite shipment of new units.  I did as he asked and heard noghing for 10 days.  I emailed and called for an update and was now told that the freight company had to deliver the items back to them before they could send new ones or refund my parents money.  I was told that they would pick up the units in one to two days.  When no one showed up I called every three or four days and have talked with eight different people over the last four weeks: Andy, Danny, Owen, Ryan, Franco, Bobby, Calvin and Chris.  Each one of them lied and told me that they had talked to the freight company and they would be here in one to two days and that they would refund my parents money. 

What they did is to defraud me into thinking that they were going to help me when all they wanted to accomplish was getting past the 45 day time limit to dispute the charge to my PayPal account.  On the 46th day they changed their story.  On day #46 they told me that because I signed the Bill of lading (that I was forced to sign before they would unload the units from the truck) I had accepted the units and if they are damaged it was my fault and they are not picking up the damaged units, but they are keeping my parents money.  They never had any intention of returning the money or picking up the damaged units.  I was defrauded by ApplicancesConnection to keep me from filing a timely dispute and I was defrauded by the freight company, ICAT logistics, Inc., by their driver's refusal to wait while I opened the boxes as per the Bill of Lading I signed. 

The worst part is that this is for a small apartment in my shop for my 83 year old parents who lost their home.  The job had to be stopped 4 weeks ago because the units are an undercounter W&D that have to be installed before kitchen floors, cabinets, fixtures and counter tops.  My parents have been living in a small camp trailer waiting for ApplicancesConnection to do what they promised.  My parents can't afford to buy another washer and dryer.  Don't believe  word from Applicancesconnection.com!
