I have called and complained multiple times in regards to a purchase charge that occured monthly that I did not authorize. I asked them to block the purchase that I had never authorized the purchase. They told me each time that the company the money was going to had my personal information and that they could not stop payment.

I was a single mom with bad credit when I started this card and was doing everything that I could to improve my credit. After having so many issues with the company I did everything that I could to get it paid and closed. I cut the card up over a year ago and continued paying it. I have never had a late payment on it.

The interest was extremely high, they charged a monthly maintence fee of $15 and every month that I had the card this purchase of $19.95 popped up. They would tell me that I needed to deal with the company charging the card but I never could get information on who the business actually was to work it from that side. Applied bank's customer service is very frustrating and is absolutly no help.

I truely feel like the $19.95 charge was additional money going to them that I paid each month for all most ten years. I closed the account yesterday after I finally hit a zero balance on the 28th of June. I had tried multiple times from that day to contact them to close the account but they have inconvient hours, a very frustrating automated system and my call would be disconnected time and time again. Finally on Jul 2nd I spoke with a rude customer service agent that closed the account. Today I got on to see if the account was closed and there was $54 dollars in charges. I had another $15 monthly maintence, the same $19.95 as every month before,  and a charge lable as Yahoo for $19.95. I cut this card up over a year ago and have not authorized any payments from Yahoo. Again I was told that the companies had my information so it was really not their problem and the charges came through on the 1st and I closed the account on the 2nd. I will pay the $54 to keep it from being a negative mark on my credit but it makes me sick to give this worthless company a cent more of my money.
