Purchased 168.00 of tanning & lotion. used the place 2 times- 3rd day the bed malfunctioned and I recvd eye injury and bodily injury ended up in the ER and I have had 3 eye appts in the last week.

I reqsted a refund - they commented that they cannot guaruntee this, I have been urged to send my medicals to them to pay immediately I am still being treated and my tear duck glands have stopped working, I am being rushed to send invoices and no one will tell me what went in my eyes and told by the COO in  Colorado that the maint guy said there was nothing wrong with the bed.

This place does not know how to train their employees in case of an emergency and this place was only open for 3 days when this happened to me.  They have no disregard that these are my only eyes and I have and they want me to them what went in my eyes and all over my body? The ladies in the front said FIBER GLASS.  Why is it they can tell me what it was but the manager and COO cant!!

This place should re group and train and check the beds better before people lay down their life to tan here.  I will keep you updated what happens.

POSTED: Friday, February 28, 2014

At The Beach is committed to offering the best equipment, the best customer service and the best value in the industry. We regret that this incident occurred and we reacted and responded as soon as we were notified. The C.O.O. Immediately reached out to the customer and offered to help in anyway possible. The C.O.O. Urged the customer to seek medical attention with eye specialist and not to wait the week that the ER recommended for follow up. At The Beach refunded the membership costs that the customer purchased within 3 days of the incident and additionally upgraded the customer to the highest package available. The Company immediately turned in the incident to the Insurance Company and currently is waiting for customer to submit medical documents in order to assess what other reimbursement need to be done.

Agsin, the Company regrets that this isolated incident happened and has stated repeatedly both by phone calls and emails that we are willing to reimburse the medical costs associated with the ER visit and subsequent follow-up visitis.
