This is one of the most appalling companies I have ever came across. I have never recieved the duplicate title, registration, or any othe legal document to the vehicle that I purchased.
I recently lost my husband in early April, MY vehicle was suppose to have credit life and disabilty, now auto one is saying that I don't have the coverage, also when I purchased the vehicle I was led to believe that it was a 2000 only to find out recently that it is actually a 1999 even though the contract states its a 2000 they also continue to tell me I am @ least 2 pymts behind when i have sent them proof that they are incorrect.
they continue to harass me @ home and @ work, there has to be some kinda of legal action taken against lenders who treat there customers like common trash they are RUDE, INCONSIDERATE, extremley poor customer service, And nothing more than common THIEVES.

ex-customer of Auto One

I am so sorry to hear about your experience with Auto One. I too had the same kind of problems. My ex-husband bought the vehicle and made payments, or was suppose to make payments on it instead of child support, a mutual agreement we came to, however, eventually he quit making payments and I found out about it and tried to resume payments, which they refused to accept. I had to leave my name and number with a finance manager to call me back and I did, only for them to begin harassing me at work, only to tell me they could not accept payments from me because I was not on the account.

ALICE! Have some respect you fool

People who work in the businesses seem to have lost touch with the customer skills that provided them such business to begin with. Sounds like Alice in Dallas is taking this quite personally. Almost all AMERICANS today are going through credit problems. As an EX-carsalesman for a Ford dealership, I can tell you that people like this MORON ALICE pay higher KICK BACKS to the car dealerships for going with a piss poor company like a AUTO ONE Financing. They do treat people like crap and they need to brush up on thier customer service skills. It shows poor management skills to not shop your own company and make sure they are treating people right. I know for a fact that AUTO one has a rude staff. Dealerships don't care where they get you financed as long as you go through them. If you go through a bank you would not have to deal with scum like ALICE. Alice the right answer would be they should have guided her to a resolve of some sort...not just brush her off. That is called customer service. After all regardless of her credit rating she is still a customer. And judging by your answer...you must be the Manger.
HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR PEOPLES FEELINGS YOU JERK!

First of all, it is not Auto One's fault that you thought you signed up for credit life/disability. This would fall with the dealership or with you personnally. Auto One has nothing to do with credit life or disability. They are handled by the companies that you sign up with when you purchase the vehicle. Second, the year of the vehicle is also something you need to take up with the dealership....it sounds to me that you just picked a very bad dealership to purchase this vehicle from. Finally, finance companies treat their customers based on past business customers have held with other finance companies. Each person gets a sort of "ranking score" when they sign up with a finance company. This "ranking" is based on credit, passed performance in paymnet history etc. Your "ranking score" has to be pretty low to get a call from Auto One in the first place. Maybe if you paid you paid all your bills on time you would not receive calls. Auto One does not call customers that are not past due.
