This was written to me, What a bunch of crap! Another Authentication company can not dispute the authenticity of an item c'mon please! With this contract Nobody can return or question any purchased item or have any claim against the company.

I have bought over $10,000.00 worth of merchandise from this company and they all have turned out to be fake! and this is the response I get: Look at the last sentence.

Thanks for writing!

Unfortunately, someone's opinion, is someone's opinion, and that is all it is. An opinion is not reliable for absolute verification of the authenticity of any one piece, as others will have another opinion.

Please note the terms of user agreement, you agreed to these terms when buying from us which deals with this issue.

Here is our return policy, that you agree to when purchasing from us:

Returns - Resolution of Disputes

Returned items are only acceptable, if they meet the Authentication Guarantee requirements for such a return. First, an agreement must be made by Autographs America that an item, or items, has, or have met the scope of proof to constitute a return, i.e., that the item, or items are, or, were absolutely not signed, or autographed by the artist, or artists in question, and that the purchaser can provide the burden of proof, other than an opinion of another authentication service that the item is not authentic. Otherwise, said items are not returnable, or refundable for any other reason.

Please note that the user agreement is a legal and binding contract, fully enforceable in a court of law.

IF you wanted someone to look at the items and give you an opinion, you should have had them look at the item on the web site before you purchased it. As you can see, the images are clearly seen and nothing was hidden from view.

Best regards,

Michael Rigore

Never asked for a refund!!

AUTHOR: Shane - (Australia)

POSTED: Monday, August 31, 2009

I have never once for a refund, please show me where I ever ever asked for refund.........again more lies!!

What I want from you is an explanation to the endless lies you tell.

Explain to the world why you said the following to the Washington State DA -

This person never purchased anything from us. Please note that we represent over 300 different collectors and this item may have come from one of them, but it was definitely not from us.

Ask this person to show you a Certificate of Authenticity from us for the item he has in his possession, and you will find out it was NOT from us. Since he bought it on eBay he should contact them to ask the name of the seller so he will know who to contact.

This person has been harassing us, and other organizations about this issue, and we will hot waste our time on something that is not our problem. He's posted lies on this allreaders.net <http://allreaders.net> web site, and we will be pursuing legal actions against him. He's made a mistake, and he won't admit it, and has been trying to make a federal case out of it.

Please note that any authenticators opinion is only that, and is meaningless in the real world. It is probably authentic, and this guy should be happy to own such an item. He should research the band's autographs and decide himslef, not let a biased company with few exemplars to decide this matter.

Secondly please explain the promissory note signed by Brian Burns in 2008 and witnessed by Sky Benson.

Thirdly, explain why a customer can not have their items third party authenticted, to prove what you are selling them is the real deal. Any reputable company (and there are many of them) always allow third party authentication.

As I have said many times and will continue to say:

There is a great article written by Steve Cyrkin at Autograph Magazine.  I suggest anyone even contemplating purchasing something from Autographs America read what Steve has to say about not buying forgeries.  Article can be found here

Never Bought anything from us

AUTHOR: Autographs America.com - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, August 16, 2009

This person purchased an item that came from our company on eBay from a seller.  Then, he contacted us, over and over, demanding proof the item was signed by the band.  No matter what lengths we went to to help him, he kept getting more and more demading and foul.  He filed a complaint on complaints.com and uses every single cuss word you wouldn't want your children to hear.  He demanded that we give him his money back.  Wow, he bought it from someone else, and wants US to return his money.  We didn't sell him anything, and we should continue to assist this person.  You would have lost your patience with this person, just like us.  Some people you can't make happy, no matter what you do for them.  They just keep asking for what's not possible.  IF you get a chance to look at the item he bought, please compare it to any authentic Van Halen signed guitar you have ever seen.  You'll agee: This item certainly is authentic.

Unbelievable arent they

AUTHOR: Shane - (Australia)

I didnt purchase directly from Autographs America but from someone on Ebay that originally purchased from AA. I got the same response from them as well. They are crooks. Absolutely no doubt about it. I have contacted everyone under the sun about it - FBI, Washington State Attorney General, King County Sheriff, etc, etc and not one person has done a single thing when presented with all the evidence I have with regards to the fake guitar I purchased.
