First Off!!! READ your Owner's Manuals. You bought it read how it works, and the do(s) and don't(s). Bad Boy Mowers are fine pieces of Machinery that just so happen to cut grass really well. They are, in my opinion, the "Baddest Mowers" on the planet. No! I'm not the owner nor a employee.

First, I doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out if your mower deck is going down to check everything that has to do with it, including your toggle, ( now known as a rocker switch) that raises and lowers it. If you are running over stumps. Raise your deck or go around it like any sane person would, unless you don't give a crap about your equipment. ( In this case, DON'T Complain, when you break something).

Second, as I have read most of the reports and comments; I wonder how some of these people have a driver's liscense to drive, (Glad you don't live around me.) let alone operate any equipment. If you passed your drives test then you should know the basics to operate a Bad Boy or any other zero-turn.( You don't run over obsticles in the road do you, or do you?)

Third, Buy the right equipment for the task at hand. You wouldn't race a factory Pinto against a Porshe. In other words, don't buy a MZ, and try to cut 20 acers with it, when you know you should've at least bought a Bad Boy Pup, or Lightening (Outlaw XP now). Quit being a cheap-a*s, then complaining when your not happy or you break it. There is a way to know what you should buy......look inside Bad Boy's Product Catalog. Check out the stats and buy accordingly. I do understand that some, more like most, may not have it to do so, but at least get as close as you can to your situation. 

Fourth, Bad Boy and other manufacturers do offer options and accessories to make your Bad Boy better equipped to tackle your indiviual situation. Purchase them. If you break a window on your car or truck, or home, purchase an accessory that prevents or lessens the chance of doing so. If you buy a MZ Magnum and the seat doesn't adjust or side foward...upgrade to a better seat like on a ZT or CZT (Maverick now), HELL, buy an Air-Ride seat. ( It even tilts forward and leans back 5-15 degrees.)

Fifth, when you go back for repairs, be honest with what happened to your Bad Boy, or any other. Your Bad Boy mechanic wasn't there when you messed up your equipment, it can be like finding a needle in a haystack to find or get the same problem to show up again unless it's obvise, and total broke.

Sixth, stop misusing the equipment. I don't just mean running over things or driving them off of your trailer or into your lake or nearby river. I mean if you are out of your warranty span, grease your mower, do your scheduled oil and hydro filter changes.(Including on the drive motor models). Check to make sure tire pressure is right from one side to the other. (Major cause of uneven cut), change your blades or at least sharpen them. Bearings give out whether they are in a plastic pulley or a metal one.

And in closing....of my rant. Your Bad Boy mower will serve you as long as you take care of them and. do their scheduled maintenance. Things do happen, and sometimes out of our control, even Bad Boy, but don't act as though your misuse or a missed QC part has anything to do with how that Bad Boy Mower really is.
