Bally Total Fitness dishonest tried to set ripoff legal trouble unproffessional rude Houston Texas

So I wanted to start going to the Gym with my wife. I went online and printed out a 30 day free trial and you can cancle simple and hassle free before 30 days or you'll get charged. After that coupon was printed, my personal info was in already.

We ween't able to make it to gym 2 Saturdays. They called me everyday from Chicago area code I was told, that I had missed going, that I can reschedule I got 2 calls in morning, they hung up, 2 after noon, 1 for me and one for my wife. Can they merge both names? NO. I finally go to location. I ask for Facility Manager, he sends a REP. Looked like some high school kid, dressed in thug clothes lose shoes untied shoe laces.

SO he walks us through the gym, 30% I understood what he said. Spoke very low. Finally we go to the office. Tells us right away. "Well heres the deal, you know me I'm gonna be staright with ya, No one want to Hurt their credit. If you want we can do a membership (contract) with another social #. That way you don't worry about canceling and hurting credit. You can use the 15 day guest pass but I'm offering you a contract with no risk"

He said we can also use the 30 days trial with 5 bucks down. If we don;t quit before 30 days. it'll come out of my account. He said if we visit the doctor alot. My wife said she does one in a while. he said we can simply get a written note that we can't exercise to cancel plan. Said it wasn't a hassle then after said we would have to send letter, come to location to speak with someones, phone call, that it'll just waste our time and his time.

TROUGHOUT THE WHOLE TIME!!!! He kept knocking on windows from his office to call girl who were exiting classes. He was talking to us while looking ou the window. He would walk out to speak with someone else. He would tell us she is one of the finest girls around. NOW to think my wife would be working out in there while workers are staring at them?? Trying to speak with them. At the end I didn't like much of the stuff he told us, I said we wanted the 2 week pass. he said fine, get me your ID, took it, came back , said "Thats it" walked out and left to someone else. We thought he would at least ay, thank you for coming, if you need any help please ask me or someone else. But no, he must have been mad because he didn't get it his way.


I'm always suspiciuos of weird act like that, I prefer to stay away.
