Bally Total Fitness placed on credit report after moving to Raleigh from VA , THERE ARE NO CLUBS HERE!!! Norwalk California

I was a member of your facility in Newport News VA I relocated to Raleigh NC in March of 2007. I called your company and spoke with a representative. I was advised that I could fax a copy of my lease and a letter to inform you all of my cancellation of membership due to the fact that there were no facilities within a 25 mile radius of Raleigh, North Carolina. I faxed the required information on 3/23/2007.Shortly thereafter I received a letter from your company dated 4-05-2007 explaining that since I moved I would need to send in proof. I called a representative again and was advised to disregard the letter. November 2007 I go to check my credit report and I see BALLY TOTAL FITNESS listed as someone I owe. This is no good I did everything was required from taking time out of my day to fax over a copy of my lease to calling customer service and staying on the line for 30-45 minutes at a time waiting for someone to come on the line. I plan on moving to attend Rutgers University in New Jersey and I was actually looking forward to attending your facilities again, but after this scam and con you all pulled I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I need this situation resolved immediately I emailed a member service rep online @ your website with no response over a week ago. You people are operating a giant scam and I am going to make a formal report to the BBB as well as Rip off report and planet feedback. I am sending the original documents that I faxed over to you all as well as the letter BALLYS sent to me explaining that I no longer lived in Bally City. Please take care of this immediately and correct the error that was made on your part if not, I will be forced to pursue further recourse.
