BALLYS TOTAL FITNESS STILL TRYING TO MAKE ME PAY AFTER I CANCELED MT CONTRACT WITH IN THE 3 DAYS THAT I HAD TO CANCEL! KANSAS CITY Missouri

Me and one of my friends wanted to go to the gym and we know ballys had the free workout sessions for like 2 weeks so thats what we went in for the ROY! i guess his like the manager over getting new people started or what not but so he takes us into the room and shows us all these memberships and they were to high in price plus we didnt have any money so i ask are they still doing the 2 weeks free he said yea but we have this deal and todays the last day for it and its only 20 dollars a month and its better then the 2 weeks free so we ask him ok but its month to month right??? he says yea we asked him was it a month to month like 3 times he kept sayin yea so we're like ok he pays for our membersships out of his own pocket and tells us we can pay him back also not to forget i just turned 18 my friends wont turn 18 until next year he also changed or DOB on the CONTRACT! (that we being dumb and this is our first time doing somethin like this) so it would look like we were 18 already! how crazy is that? so my other friend had came up there one day and we where there also she found out that we where in a contract and went off on them b/c she knew roy and the staff pretty well and told him that that was wrong and he knew that he shouldnt have did that to us and that we wanted out of it and one of the staff members got mad and told roy she was tryna talk us out of the contract and i told her no shes not thats how we feel we asked from day one was it a month to month and he kept tellin us yes now we find out its not and its a 3 year contract thats not right so i read through the contract and found away out that was by sending in a letter to the corp office either in norwalk,ca OR overland park,ks since overland park is closest to me i sent it there i gave them more then 30 days to contact me they still haven't and i get a call from norwalk sayin that i needed to send it there and if i dont they'er going to put whati own in collections and i told them they said to just send they papers out to them b/c luckly i made copies of the contract before i sent it in to overland parks office and proof that i sent the letter off and in time. but i know not to trust them after this and i wil never in my life sign up for ballys ever again and if i have to this will be taken to court!
