Bank Of America - BofA Banking Services Checking Account Risk Management Charlotte, North Carolina

After being scammed on the internet with payday loans and fraudlent access to my banking account. Bank of America has opted to close my account. But not after racking up $800.00 plus in fees. I was told by a representative from the bank to close my current account and open a new one with my local branch. I complied and withdrew money via my ATM went inside to open a new accounts checking & savings. I had been trying to fix this unauthorized access problem since December 2009. I kept seeing charges to instituions and shopping clubs I new nothiing about. Luckily I did not have the money in my account anyway. I still was incurring fees $35.00 from B of A. They also charge an additonal $35.00 fee if you are over drawn for seven days. I was instructed to file  a fraud claim with the bank. I did. I wanted my account frozen and not put on hold there is a difference. The area of risk managemet decided to close my accout after they discovered an error on their part from 2003.

According to them I should have never been allowed to open an account in 2008. They conducted there investigation and took all my money out of both my accounts. They charged me for them doing their job and continue to charge me fees. I am penalized for something I have no control over.  They are telling me that if I have a fraud claim open and I am do any money they will send me a check. Right like thats going to happen. These people took taxpayer money and are ripping us off left and right with fees and hidden charges. Rather than fix the problem and do the right thing they would rathermake 17.5 billion in overdraft and NSF fees. They are laughing at us and getting over like fat rats.  It is high time the banking industry stop using the American Public as if we are too stupid to analyze their scam. Closing my account was their way of silencing me and covering up their mistakes. They did not anticipate that I would sound the alarm to others. Help me and others send a message to the banking industry.
