BANK OF AMERICA Client Services Inc. Turned account over to collection agency when it was not past due. Actually it was being processed for a financial hardship. Internet

Bank of America turned my account over to a collection agency at the same time they were processing hardships on my accounts. When I called them about the hardship they told me I would have to make the current payment in order to have the hardship granted which I did. The representative told me since the payment had been made, and the paperwork required submitted it would only be a couple of days until the hardship would be granted, she even gave me the new payment amount and interest rate. They did grant the hardship for two small accounts and for some reason told me something that was not true about the other account.

Next thing I know I get a call from some guy who says he is from the pre-legal department at Bank of America and that I am being sued for non-payment. Come to find out he was actually from a collection agency called Client Services Inc.

Bank of America is the most unfriendly, dishonest bank I have ever encountered. They rip off anybody they can and continue to get away with it! They told me my account was going to be granted a hardship took my $425.00 payment and then turned it over to a collection agency that is far less than ethical. One that is being investigated by the MO Attorney General.

Bank of America has ruined my credit because of their own internal lack of communication. Apparently one department has absolutely no idea what the other departments are doing. When you call you never get the same representative, even if you give them the name of the person you have been working with!
