Better Planet Books Rude, Poor Customer Service Chattanooga Tennessee

My husband needed a text book for one of his classes. We typically always rent from Amazon, however they did not have this book and started looking elsewhere.

My husband did a google shopping search and the website Betterplanetbooks.com came up with the lowest price for rental. BY Far the lowest price, less than half of all competitors.  After putting the book into my online "cart" I wanted to find more info about the company and how their return policy worked.

At the VERY bottom in small print is a disclaimer that you won't receive the edition of the book you're looking for, however you will receive prior editions! However it is worded very differently and could be confusing.. I then began to look for online reviews 100% of them that I found were bad , got wrong books, had to pay shipping to return it to them, noone returns emails, no phone number.. alll red flags for me so I decided not to continue with my purchase..

A few days later I get an email from them asking why I didnt purchase the book,

I responded "I think its very misleading about sending previous editions other than the ones requested. Some teachers do not allow this and had I not read the fine print and googled reviews I couldve put myself in a VERY bad position..."

They responded "Well considering its stated in the description and pictured as a previous edition I guess we'll just have to assume you believe everything that you read on the internet."

My response: "Lets also consider that you put a picture of the current edition on there as well.... good luck and now shipping delays, I would have been screwed. So glad I dodged this bullet... get it together. .."

and NOW this from them. 

Their response: "We certainly did consider it for comparison purposes.  Did you consider that out of so many orders there's bound to be some issues and negative feedbacks?  Seems to me that you're kinda screwed already considering your too incompetent to wrap your head around a simple concept such as that.  Doing just fine without ya there little lady.
