I ordered some jewellery off bidz on 13-10-06 paid through pay-pal all done and dusted thought I but a month later when I tried to track my order I got a rather abrupt reply your goods are at our new york airport base ready for despatch to you do not enquire about these goods again until after 2 months has passed from date of order
I did this and boy what trouble I had they first e-mailed me 2 forms which needed signing bt a judiciary which in the uk costs $100 and they also cut their e-mail service to me off so the only contact was by phone to cut a long story short I paid byvisa debit card so I was covered by them on the 22nd of december I contacted VISA who paid me my money instantly to my account they billed bidzfor my amount

#1 UPDATE Employee
Shipping delays
AUTHOR: Mounyah - (U.S.A.)

To address the shipping issue with the way that this customer chose (FIMS) the merchandise is sent out bulk mail so there is no way to track the package. What happens is Fed Ex comes and gets the package and it is then sent to Newark New Jersey. At Newark the packages are sorted out by country after a bin gets full with mail for that specific country it is mailed out. All the packages will go to the post office and the sent out to the local post office of the customer.
In our help section it does state that choosing the FIMS service it can take 3 to 4 weeks up to 8 week, this is due to this whole process plus the time that it may take customs to check the package. We suggest if an international customer would like up to date tracking information they should pay for the international economy. As far as the paper work we where requiring from the customer this is a standard practice that we go by if someone's package get lost in the mail. If the country that the customer lives in does not provide a notary service the can always go to the police station and have someone in there sign the paper work. If this customer would have completed the requited paper work they would have received a refund from us with no problem.
